Houston Ballet respects the privacy of our donors and has put in place a privacy policy reflective of our respect.

Houston Ballet collects and maintains information, provided by donors, which includes –  

  • Contact information: name, address, telephone number, email address, business information
  • Contribution history specific to Houston Ballet
  • Information on performances and events attended as well as special requests for program information
  • Information provided by the donor in the form of comments, suggestions, or ideas

We use this information to understand our donors’ interests in our mission and programs to update them on our plans and activities.  

Donor information may be shared with Houston Ballet Board of Trustee leadership on a need-to-know basis.

Very occasionally we work with select partner organizations to provide name and addresses for event invitations that we think may be of interest to our supporters. In this case, donor information is typically provided to a third party vendor for the purposes of a one-time, approved mailing. Donor information is never given to another entity for their indefinite use. Alternatively, invitations to third party events are sent from the Ballet by the Ballet.

Houston Ballet does not sell, rent, or lease donors’ information to other organizations. 

We offer opportunities for donors to be recognized publicly in association with the gift level; however, every donor has the opportunity to remain anonymous and to decline public and/or private recognition.  

At any time you may request to be removed from Houston Ballet email and/or postal mailing lists.
