Houston Ballet is seeking a Director of Marketing & Public Relations (PR) to help shape the next chapter of one of the nation’s leading ballet companies.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Marketing & PR will translate artistic vision into audience engagement, revenue growth, and enduring brand equity.

The Full-time Audiovisual (AV) Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audiovisual systems used for rehearsals, meetings, and events at the Houston Center for Dance, located in downtown Houston, TX. This role supports equipment including audio amplifiers, speakers, displays, video monitors, cameras, and conferencing systems.

The Summer Chaperones / Dorm Resident Advisors are responsible for ensuring student safety and creating an engaging environment for pre-professional dancers residing at the University of St. Thomas dormitory. Houston Ballet houses 130+ students in this dormitory for the duration of the Summer Intensive Program. Chaperones will move in approximately one week prior to the start of the program and participate in a comprehensive orientation and training with Houston Ballet Academy Staff and partner organizations. Chaperones need to be available for in-person work in Houston from Monday, June 15^{th –} Saturday, July 25, 2026.

We are looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to help in Houston Ballet retail store. In this role, you will greet customers and provide them with product information or suggestions. Your other tasks involve keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with inventory. Since this is our busy season, we serve a high number of customers throughout the day. Employees must follow company policy and uphold brand standards at all times. Seasonal hourly salary starts at $15.00.

Academy Class Monitors will help ensure the safety and security of Houston Ballet Academy students at the Center for Dance, located in downtown Houston.

As a Company Pianist with Houston Ballet, you’ll be an essential part of the creative process—providing live accompaniment for classes, rehearsals, and staged performances in collaboration with world-class dancers, conductors, choreographers, and musicians.  This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an environment where your playing isn’t just heard—it’s felt in every movement on stage.  This is a full-time, in-person position located in Houston, Texas. 

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering general Marketplace information to callers. 

Our part-time customer service positions pay $15 per hour.

The CSRs use basic office equipment and technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers to perform their duties. The CSRs assume ticket order responsibility and processing of payments during performances and throughout the work week.
