Houston Ballet Academy has a long and meaningful history with Prix de Lausanne, dating as far back as 1989. For more than two decades, our students have competed and performed on the international stage, earning significant recognition and awards.

Featured Interlude Performance

 

In 2013, Houston Ballet II was honored to perform A Dance in the Garden of Mirth at the Interlude Performance.



Recent Participation

 

In 2018, Houston Ballet Academy began participating in the Partner School Choreographic Project, continuing our commitment to creativity and innovation.

In 2025, HBII student Henry Lichtmacher became the first from our Academy to be selected for — and win — the Young Creation Award, marking an exciting new chapter in our relationship with the Prix de Lausanne.
