ADULT INTENSIVES
Adult Intensives offer students an opportunity to train with Houston Ballet Academy’s world-renowned faculty in a program designed specifically for them. Classes are taught at the Intermediate/Advanced level and include classes in ballet technique, variations/repertoire, contemporary, musical theater, and body-conditioning methods that focus on mindful movement, core strength, and proper alignment. Students should have a minimum of 3 years ballet training and be 18 years or older.
2026 ADULT SPRING MINI INTENSIVE
March 6-8, 2026
This 3-day intensive will include repertory from Stanton Welch’s Sylvia.
Optional Additions: All participants will receive a discount code for 1 ticket to a performance of Sylvia during the intensive, and a discount code to register for our S.O.A.R. Workshop: Spring into Action! on March 8th.

2026 ADULT SUMMER INTENSIVE
May 26–30, 2026
This year’s Summer Intensive will include repertory from An Evening with the Stars and an exclusive Behind the Scenes tour of the Margaret Alkek Williams Center for Dance.
Two registration options are available: 5-day enrollment (Tuesday – Saturday) or 2-day enrollment (Friday & Saturday only).
Optional Additions: All participants will receive a discount code for the Saturday evening performance of An Evening with the Stars during the intensive. This will include a pre-show conversation with a member of the production team.
Adult Intensive participants may sign up for private sessions with Houston Ballet’s Health & Wellness team for personalized body conditioning sessions.
